About Dudhsagar Waterfalls
DudhSagar waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls all over India. It boasts a clear fall height of more than 1017 ft. It is near the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary (covered under Western Ghats). Which is a grace over River Mandovi in Goa.
Best Time to Visit:
Anytime other than monsoons however, the month of October to March is considered the best to visit Dudhsagar Waterfalls, considering the climate and weather conditions.

Based on your convenience and trekking difficulty, you can opt for different base points. A common starting point in case you’re traveling from Karnataka, would be railway tracks at Castle rock. This is roughly upto 14-kilometer trek to the waterfalls.

Exploring the Historical and Ancient Legacy
Tambadi Surla is one of the old-fashioned, three stepped, intricately designed places dedicated to the great Lord Shiva, in between the dense forest. The temple is simply made of materials such as grey-black talc chlorite soapstone which gives the whole structure a very fascinating pearl-like lustre.
On entering, just like every Shiva’s temple, there’s an idol of the bull Nandi. Interior decorations of the small structure were even more eye-catching and exciting. With lotus-shaped engravings, intricate stone works and so much more!

Piedade of Divar Island has beautiful churches in Goa. It can be reached by ferry service. The night lights which beautifully reflect on the water is one of the most mesmerizing experiences. Taking a ferry back to Old Goa at around 8 pm will surely give you all the magical Disney feels!
